Hungry Kids Project serves over 70,000 meals a year to the homeless students of the Chino Valley Unified School District. Each Thursday during the school year, a group of faithful volunteers gathers for two hours to fill and deliver weekend meal bags to over 275 schoolchildren. The bags contain 9 light meals for them to eat while school is not in session. Each year the Hungry Kids Project provides over 80,000 meals to children who lack food for the weekends. Since its inception, HKP has provided half a million meals to hungry kids.
